In this regard, a case of fraud and IT Act has been registered at Gadge Nagar police station within the limits of the city police commissionerate. Credit reward point hoax
Yogesh Omprakash Wankhede (33, Netaji Colony, Mardi Road) got a call from an unknown mobile number. The person concerned, on the pretext of talking to the Mitra app company, pretended to deposit credit reward points in the bank account. During this, Rs 53,689 was cheated online from HDFC Bank credit card and OTP number. Yogesh Wankhede has lodged a complaint with Gadge Nagar police station.

A woman got a call from some number that Rs 4500 has to be deposited back in your bank account. After which someone took away Rs 53,700 from the bank account without the consent of the woman. Mangesh Prabhakarrao Kshirsagar (Kekatpur) has lodged a complaint on behalf of the woman at Gadge Nagar police station. Police is investigating the case.
