Nagpur. The month has come to an end but the corona infection is not taking the name of decreasing. Although less infected were found on Tuesday as compared to the last 2-3 days, but the process continues. On the other hand, the death toll is also increasing. So far, more people have died in the city than in the rural. Active cases have reached 29,152 in the district.
On Monday, 8,933 people were investigated in the district. In this, 3,921 infected were found while on Tuesday, 4,028 were found infected in the investigation of 11,377 people. Although there has been a decrease in the number of infected compared to Monday, but still the infection is picking up pace. The havoc of cold continues. This is the reason that for the next few days, the number of infected people is not expected to come down. Doctors believe that this time the infected have increased due to more cold.
hospitalizations increased
Out of the total infected in the district, 2,956 were found in the city while 972 are rural and 100 infected are from other districts. On the other hand again 6 patients died. These include 5 of the city and 1 deceased from the rural. So far 10,183 people have lost their lives due to Corona. Among the dead, the number of people aged 30-50 years is more. Most are being admitted to hospitals in critical condition. 1,174 patients are admitted in various hospitals in the district. Till Monday, 1,044 patients were admitted. Doctors say that due to not taking the epidemic seriously, people are facing the problem of going to the hospital. Even after showing symptoms, people’s health is getting serious due to lack of testing.
No relief for 1-2 weeks
Doctors say that the flow of the infected will continue for the next 1-2 weeks. To control corona, it is necessary to use mask. Also, it would be appropriate to avoid going to crowded places for the next few days, but people are still not following the rules. The market is still crowded. Neither the shopkeeper nor the customer is following the rules. In other market areas including Mahal, Sakardara, Gandhibagh, Itwari, Birdi, Gokulpeth, Jaripatka, without masks and crowded conditions can be seen. Action is being taken by the administration for more than 50 people attending weddings, but the administration is still silent on the crowd of the markets.
