Pimpri : After organizational change, in view of the upcoming elections to the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation, the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) on Friday took out a grand march against the ruling BJP. Through this front, the Nationalist Congress raised the slogan of ‘Go to BJP’ while showering allegations of corruption on the ruling party. All the local leaders of the Nationalist and their factions were seen united in this very first movement of Ajit Gawane’s tenure after taking over the post of Nationalist Congress President. Traffic on the Pune lane of the Pune-Mumbai highway was affected for hours due to this front with about two thousand workers.
This great march started this morning from Chinchwad station chowk. After reaching in front of Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation building, this front turned into a huge gathering. In this, one by one the top leaders of the nationalist in their passionate speeches tried to surround the ruling BJP not only with one accusation of corruption but also infused life in the workers of the Nationalist Congress. From river reforms, smart city projects to relief work done during the Corona disaster and from waste management to dog sterilization, more than one example of corruption was presented by the leaders and corporators of the Nationalist Congress in this meeting. With the slogans of Zindabad, Sharad Pawar, Ajit Pawar Zindabad, go away the corrupt ruling party, go away BJP, the entire Pimpri Chowk area reverberated with the slogans of ‘Salu Paar Ka Sankalp’.
