Chandigarh: Due to the upcoming assembly elections (Punjab Assembly Election 2022), the election is going on in the state. All the parties including Congress BJP are engaged in propaganda. Along with this, a heated debate is going on between all the political parties and leaders. Meanwhile, Punjab Congress President Navjot Singh Sidhu has attacked Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal. He said that Arvind Kejriwal is a ‘scambaaz’.
Sidhu, in a letter to the Election Commission, said that a criminal case should be registered against Aam Aadmi Party national president Arvind Kejriwal under relevant provisions of the IPC. Sidhu wrote that as Janta Chungi Apna CM, false propaganda is being done by AAP regarding the election of its CM face through telephone calls as it is not mathematically feasible.

It is noteworthy that the Congress has complained to the Election Commission on this issue, but a show cause notice has been sent to them today. Sidhu has said that he is trying to fool the people of Punjab with his dirty tricks. Sidhu alleged that AAP has created a hybrid model of fake news.
Sidhu said that Arvind Kejriwal launched a number for AAP’s CM face and said that he got around 21 lakh messages. Sidhu said that a private number cannot receive more than 5000 messages or calls even if it is operational 24 hours 7 days. This is a scam to trick people.
People will choose their CM campaign
The AAP had last week announced its Punjab unit chief Bhagwant Mann as its chief ministerial face. Kejriwal had claimed that he had received over 21.59 lakh responses from January 13 to 17 as part of his “Janata Chungi Apna CM” campaign and 93.3 per cent of the people gave the name of Bhagwant Mann. Kejriwal had said that Sidhu got 3.6 percent votes. Sidhu said that so many calls to a private number cannot be received in a few days.
