Mumbai. Mumbai Police has solved the murder and robbery that took place in broad daylight at the bank in Dahisar area yesterday. While arresting both the accused who carried out this incident, the police have recovered arms and looted money from them. According to the police, the slippers left in the bank of the accused during the robbery became the biggest clue to reach them. The names of the arrested accused are Vikas and Dharmendra Yadav, who are cousins and are residents of Bhadohi in UP.
According to information received from Praveen Padwal, Additional Commissioner of Police, Uttar Pradesh Department, the police had found a slipper of the accused on the spot. After sniffing that slipper, the sniffer dog of Mumbai Police reached the house where the accused was hiding by closing the door from inside. After this the police first tried to open the closed door, but when there was no response from inside, the police team broke the door. In this room, the main accused Vikas was hiding.

The arrested accused told the police during interrogation that he lives in Rawalpada of Dahisar area in Mumbai for the last 10 years. He had done this incident to meet the shortage of money in the lockdown and had hatched it by watching videos on YouTube. He had planned to rob the bank only after watching the video on YouTube. Before carrying out the robbery, a few days ago from Bihar, 40 thousand pistols and 4 rounds of live cartridges had come to Mumbai. The main accused Vikas used to sell vegetables in Mumbai and had called his cousin from the village a few days before the incident.
Police had formed 8 teams
To nab the absconding accused, Police Commissioner Praveen Padwal had formed 8 police teams, under the guidance of DCP Vishal Thakur, ACP Vasant Pingle, Senior PI Ravi Sardesai, Inspector Nagatik, Police Sub-Inspector Vijay Dhotre, Police Sub-Inspector Ramesh Waghchaure, Deepak Patil. Including with the help of other police officers, it was successful in solving the mystery in just 8 hours.
Both the accused in police custody till January 5
In fact, in Dahisar area on Wednesday evening, both the accused had escaped after looting Rs 2 lakh 70 thousand while firing in the State Bank. During this, an employee working in the bank was also killed due to bullet injuries. Both the accused are currently in police custody till January 5 and the police is trying to find out whether anyone else was involved in this conspiracy or not.
