It is true that people are turning their backs on landline service and the biggest reason for this is the convenience factor. Mobile phones have become so much more convenient that people are surrendering to landlines. Apart from this, there are also infrastructure and cost factors which are reducing the utility of landline phones and increasing the usability of mobile phones. But the work of regaining the old customer base is going on.
