Aurangabad : Matters relating to sanction of funds for Sulibhanjan Road located in Khuldabad Taluka at Government level from time to time to the MLA of Marathwada Graduate Constituency Satish Chavan. Which is known as a Historical Tourist Destination. MLA Satish Chavan said their demand has finally been accepted and the state tourism department has sanctioned Rs 1 crore for the road.
In this regard, MLA Satish Chavan met Minister of State for Tourism Aditi Tatkare on 21 November 2021 and demanded the amount for Sulibhanjan Road. Aurangabad district is known as the capital of tourism. Sulibhanjan is a famous historical tourist destination along with the world famous Ellora Caves in Khuldabad Taluka. Along with this, the Datta temple located here is also famous. 6 kms from Khuldabad to Sulibhanjan. Due to the poor condition of the road, MLA Satish Chavan told Aditi Tatkare that the number of tourists coming to Sulibhanjan is decreasing due to the bad condition of the existing road. Therefore, MLA Satish Chavan had demanded immediate release of funds for the Khuldabad to Sulibhanjan road to speed up the development of this neglected tourist spot.

The State Tourism Department has issued a government resolution on January 31, 2022, granting administrative approval for new works at the district level under the Regional Tourism Development Plan for the year 2021-22 to provide basic amenities at tourist places. In this, an amount of one crore has been approved for Sulibhanjan Road. MLA Satish Chavan has thanked Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, Tourism Minister Aaditya Thackeray and Minister of State for Tourism Aditi Tatkare for sanctioning the amount for this work. At the same time, MLA Satish Chavan has expressed confidence that the number of tourists coming to Sulibhanjan will definitely increase from this road.
