“So, you will see we’ve moved quite a ways through the process. And we hope to have information, real soon.”
Healey is conducting a world seek for a brand new MBTA normal supervisor. She employed govt search agency Krauthamer & Associates to facilitate the method in late December.
Steve Poftak stepped down as normal supervisor on Jan. 3, two days earlier than Healey took workplace. Jeffrey Gonneville was appointed interim GM by former Gov. Charlie Baker’s administration.
Healey, when requested, mentioned she would “evaluate” whether or not the place’s wage must be elevated to draw the most effective candidates. Poftak made $366,250 in 2021, in line with the state comptroller’s workplace.
“Right now, we’re about identifying the right person,” she mentioned, including: “We’ve got to have the strongest GM in place as possible.”
