2022 MG ZS EV: MG Motor India is going to launch its new vehicle facelifted ZS EV in India. The 2022 MG ZS EV facelift is to be launched in India on March 7. MG ZS EV was first launched in India in January 2020. It was updated in early 2021 with an extended-range powertrain and a few minor changes. Now, in the year 2022, the company is preparing to launch another updated version of this car. Apart from cosmetic changes, the new MG ZS EV is expected to be launched with a host of great features and a bigger battery pack.

Will run 480 km in single charge
First let’s talk about the powertrain. The new MG ZS EV is expected to get a bigger battery pack with more range. The current ZS EV gets a 44.5kWh lithium-ion battery. At the same time, the facelifted model can have a bigger battery of 51kWh. It is expected to run up to 480 km on a single charge. Currently, the ZS EV generates 143 hp power and 353 Nm peak torque.
The 2022 MG ZS EV has been given a new avatar. The position of the charging port has been changed. In this, new sharp LED headlamps and new bumpers have been given with LED DRLs. There has been no change in the side profile and rear profile of the ZS EV, while it gets new 17-inch alloy wheels.

On the inside, the new ZS EV is expected to get a host of updates, including a larger touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and MG’s i-Smart connected car technology. MG may also offer ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) in this car which includes automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, 360-degree camera, adaptive cruise control and more. After launch, this vehicle will compete with Tata Nexon EV, Hyundai Kona Electric etc.
