Ranchi : Under the chairmanship of Ranchi Deputy Commissioner Chhavi Ranjan, a review meeting related to the 15th Finance Commission was held today. Ranchi Deputy Development Commissioner Vishal Sagar, District Panchayat Raj Officer, Virendra Choubey, all BDOs of the district, Block Panchayati Raj Officers and Block Coordinators were present in the meeting organized through virtual medium.
During the meeting, the expenditure of the amount received in the 15th Finance Commission was reviewed by the Deputy Commissioner Chhavi Ranjan. The Deputy Commissioner expressed happiness over the improvement in the performance of the district in the expenditure of funds in BPDP. He directed to make progress by spending the amount received for the development of rural areas as per rules.

While reviewing the block-wise amount expenditure in the schemes operated under the 15th Finance Commission, the Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned Block Development Officers of the not performing well to improve the performance at the earliest.
Review every day BDO – Deputy Commissioner
The Deputy Commissioner, Ranchi, Chhavi Ranjan directed the Block Development Officers to review the expenditure incurred in the implementation of the schemes run under the 15th Finance Commission. He said that the Block Development Officer should review every day. During the meeting, while reviewing the progress of expenditure under the Gram Panchayat Development Plan, Deputy Development Commissioner Vishal Sagar directed all the Block Development Officers to make progress by selecting new schemes and spending the amount available for the development of rural areas as per rules. In the next one week, a target of Rs 6 crore has been given to the Gram Panchayat and Rs 5 crore to the Panchayat Samiti.
