The Mass State Police trooper who was critically injured by an alleged drunk driver in Utah over the summer time can now stroll once more as he will get prepared to depart the rehab hospital this weekend after making “incredible progress.”
Trooper Matthew McRae was on trip in Utah in late August when the alleged drunk driver slammed into the rideshare car that the trooper was touring in, sending the statie to the ICU with extreme accidents. The trooper from the State Police Belchertown Barracks suffered a number of damaged bones, together with a damaged neck and spinal damage.
Six weeks later, McRae is strolling once more and he’s slated to be discharged from Boston’s Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital this weekend. He will return dwelling with a full Massachusetts State Police escort.

The State Police Association of Massachusetts on Facebook shared a video of McRae strolling within the rehab hospital.
McRae, a statie for the previous 4 years who was beforehand an area police officer, was the passenger of a rideshare that was struck by a driver who was arrested for working underneath the affect.
