Amravati. State Energy Minister Dr. Nitin Raut said that keeping in view the increasing number of customers, 22 sub-stations of 33/11 KV have been proposed under the Revised Regional System of Distribution (RDSS Scheme) for energy development in the district.
Effect of follow up of foster minister
The 33/11 KV sub-station realized at Takarkheda Shambhu (Ashti) by spending Rs. 6 crore 38 lakh in High Pressure Distribution System Scheme (HVDS) was inaugurated on Monday by the Energy Minister through online method. The Energy Minister said that the work of the sub-centres was done expeditiously due to the follow-up of the foster minister Yashomati Thakur. According to their demand, Wathoda Shuklaeshwar sub-centre is also included in the proposed centers.
1,311 crore dues on agricultural customers
The Energy Minister said that in the last two years, 41 thousand 334 customers were given new electricity connections in various categories from Mahavitaran. 32 thousand 991 customers have participated in the agriculture policy, which gives arrears waiver up to 66 percent for the benefit of farmers and agricultural customers. Dues to 5,445 agricultural customers have been cleared.
Farmers filled 22.21 crore arrears of agriculture. Due to which funds of 15.6 crores have been received for local development works as per the policy. A total of 1 thousand 311 crore is outstanding for 1 lakh 38 thousand 495 agricultural customers. After the interest and delay size is waived by Mahavitaran, out of the remaining 801 crore, 50 percent amount will be waived for 400 crores on filling 400 roads. In this scheme, before 31 March 2022, a participant has been called to take advantage.
22 villages of the area benefit from the sub-centre – Guardian Minister
Directly present at the function, Guardian Minister Yashomati Thakur said that the Energy Minister is constantly striving to provide unbroken and quality electricity service in the district. Takarkheda Shambhu (Ashti) and 22 villages of the campus will benefit from this sub-centre. In the current situation, 1,700 agricultural and 12 thousand other electricity customers will get smooth power supply from this sub-station.
Apart from this, keeping in mind the increase in the number of customers in future, it will help in supplying power on demand. With the setting up of this sub-station in the last village, the load on 33 KV Valgaon and 33 KV Asegaon sub-station has been reduced. The benefit of which will also be available to the customers of Valgaon and Asegaon sub-centre premises of eligible voltage.
From this sub-centre, one agricultural line and one village-than line were taken out. The 55 kilometer length of the earlier agricultural line has now become only 18 kilometer. Apart from this, the number of customers on this line has also reduced. The length of the village line has come down from 35 km to 15 km. Mahavitaran will help in providing unbroken and qualified electricity. The foster minister demanded more funds for quality power supply in the district.
