Nashik: In view of Corona, the National Pulse Polio Campaign to be held on 23 January will be carefully planned and in view of the threat of Third Wave, keeping all necessary precautions and pulses. There is a need to make arrangements for the successful completion of polio campaign. This instruction has been given by District Magistrate Suraj Mandhare.
District Magistrate Suraj Mandre was speaking in the meeting of the National Pulse Polio Campaign District Level Coordination Committee organized in the District Officer’s office. District Surgeon Dr. Ashok Thorat, District Health Officer Dr. Kapil Aher, Municipal Vaccination Nodal Officer Dr. Ajita Sanlukhe, Malegaon Municipal Corporation Medical Officer Dr. Sapna Thackeray, Surveillance Medical Officer Dr. Prakash Nandapurkar etc. were present on the occasion.

A plan is being made for the polio campaign
Plans are being made for the Pulse Polio campaign on 23rd January. But in view of the increasing number of corona patients in Nashik district, a proposal should be sent to the government to change the timing of the campaign. Along with this, all the Taluka Medical Officers at the taluka level regularly examine the AFP patients and send the tool samples forward for examination. A total of 8 lakh 38 thousand 687 children will be given dose in Nashik district in the Pulse Polio campaign to be held on 23 January. For this 8,387 booths have been arranged. For this, 16,774 employees have been employed. Dr. Bhoye gave this knowledge.
