Omicron patients are increasing
According to the data of the Health Department, after getting new corona patients in the state, the number of infected people has increased to 78,42,949 and the number of dead to 1,43,404. However, the good thing is that in the last 24 hours, 9,815 people have defeated this dangerous virus, due to which the number of people recovering from corona reached 76,49,669. Will you get relief from ‘mask’?
Significantly, for a few days, Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope had said that the Uddhav government is making continuous efforts to provide relief to the people from the masks soon. In this regard, Tope had said in Kolhapur on Thursday that discussions are being held with the Center and the state’s COVID Task Force, so that a decision can be taken in this regard.
Along with this, according to the Maharashtra government, after showing a decline in the cases of corona, the Uddhav government is considering ending many restrictions. The decision to open schools and colleges in the state was taken last month. At the same time, restaurants and theaters are being re-opened with 50% capacity and other necessary relaxations can be given soon. Apart from this, all other restrictions have been abolished and people have got a lot of relief from this.
However, the thing to think about is that, for the last few days, the patients of Omicron are increasing. On Sunday, 218 new cases of Omicron were registered. In which the maximum number of patients 172 are from Mumbai alone. While 30 are from Pune. In such a situation, a total of 3,986 patients have been infected with Omicron in Maharashtra so far. Out of which 3,334 people have recovered from this variant. Looking at all these important aspects, it seems that at present, relief from masks to people in Maharashtra is going to prove to be a far cry.
