According to the preliminary estimate of the district administration, the crop has been damaged in 19881.3 hectares. Achalpur, Chandur Bazar tehsil has suffered the most. The hailstorm has damaged gram, wheat, vegetables, tur, onion, orange, banana and other crops. One person has died due to lightning in Dhamangaon railway, that is why the farmers of the district are demanding compensation for the damage caused by the hailstorm.
