New Delhi: State-owned telecom company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is introducing new offers to attract users after tariff hike from private telecom operators. Now, BSNL is offering 5GB additional data (5GB data) for 30 days if customers of other telecom operators switch to BSNL.
This offer is valid till 15th January 2022. Free data will be for 30 days. BSNL wrote on Twitter that the free 5GB data will be for 30 days or till the validity of the current plan. BSNL will have to ask the users to switch from their existing operators and share the reason for their switching on social media.
Users have to use the hashtag #SwitchToBSNL on Twitter and Facebook and have to provide proof of switching to BSNL to avail the additional benefits. Users will further have to tag BSNL on social media platforms and also follow the operator on social media handles.

Users will have to switch to the government operator through Mobile Number Portability (MNP). BSNL has mentioned in its terms and conditions that users will have to share a screenshot of their tweet. Users can also directly message or send screenshots on WhatsApp with their mobile number to 9457086024.
BSNL is offering free 4G SIM till March 2022 and has noted that users can port out using the same number. It is giving free 4G SIM card till March 31, 2022. The telco has so far implemented this offer in Kerala Telecom circles and is likely to extend this offer to other telecom circles soon. Users wishing to switch to BSNL will have to pay only for the recharge amount of the prepaid plan without any additional charges.
Apart from this, BSNL has now extended the validity of the annual prepaid plan till January 15. BSNL will offer an extended validity of 90 days with its Rs 2399 plan which comes up to 455 days. As for the benefits of the plan, it offers 3GB daily data along with unlimited calls and 100 SMS per day. It also provides free ringtones and Eros Now entertainment services. This offer is promotional and will be valid till January 15, 2022 across all telecom circles.
