Bharatpe co-founder Ashneer Grover’s troubles are not taking the name of lessening. Here, preparations are on to get him out of his own company. On the other hand, the law firm of Kotak Wealth has given such a statement, which is going to increase the headache of Ashneer Grover. Kotak Wealth’s law firm Khaitan & Co has said that it has not had any discussion with Ashneer Grover and his wife regarding the dispute related to IPO financing.
Actually, Khaitan and Company has written a letter to Grover. It states that he has not had any communication with Ashneer and his wife in connection with the ongoing dispute with Kotak over IPO financing. English business news website Mint has given this news. Mint has also claimed to have seen a copy of this letter. First, an audio clip of Ashneer Grover with an employee of Kotak Wealth surfaced. In this, Ashneer is heard threatening Kotak’s employees. Then, the matter took hold, after which his own company started an investigation against Ashneer.
In fact, Khaitan & Company said these things in response to a letter from a law firm representing Grover and his wife Madhuri Grover. Regstreet Law Advisors, the law firm representing Grover, had sent a letter to Khaitan & Co on January 19. It was said that his clients had informed that talks have been held between Grover and Kotak Bank and its executives on the issue of IPO financing.
Sumeet Agarwal, founder and partner, Regstreet Law Advisors, said in that communication, “Both the parties have agreed to resolve the issue through mutual talks and neither party wants to pursue the series of allegations and counter allegations regarding this issue.” Huh.”
In its reply on January 21, Khaitan & Co said that except its reply to the legal notice sent in November, no communication has taken place in the matter. In his letter, Khaitan said, “Our clients (Kotak Mahindra Bank) have not discussed this matter with your clients and therefore, there is no question of any decision between the parties. Clients are surprised to read about this and we are surprised as to why our clients are being talked about in a discussion that has never happened before.”
It has also said that if Grover wants to close the matter, he will have to withdraw the legal notice sent in the last week of October. Grover dated Uday Kotak in his LinkedIn post in the last week of January. He was called a legend. Uday Kotak is the head of Kotak Mahindra Bank. Grover had also said, “I had the privilege of starting a career with Kotak…7 years…and I can tell that no one else in India understands finance so much better.”
