Battery swapping will solve a big problem
The focus of the government is on increasing the use of electric vehicles in the country. This will reduce the consumption of diesel and petrol on the one hand and reduce pollution on the other. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman had said that efforts are being made to start more public charging stations under urban planning. But, lack of space in big cities can become a hindrance for this. In this case, battery swapping policy can solve the problem.

20 percent incentive can be available on the lease cost of the battery
Industry executives said, the battery is the most expensive part of an EV and swapping will allow companies to offer the service through a lease or subscription model. This will reduce the cost of buying and running an EV.
“The government is expected to give an incentive of up to 20 per cent to EV owners on the total subscription or lease cost of the battery and this will be in addition to the subsidy received for buying clean vehicles,” a source said.
