Aurangabad: The amount of PF was paid by the administration to the agencies and savings groups supplying employees on contract to the Municipal Corporation. But, due to non-deposit of PF amount of workers in the PF office by those private agency holders and savings groups, the PF office has recently blocked an amount of 10 crores from the account of the Municipal Corporation by opening a front of action against the municipal administration. The municipal administration is in power due to the action of blocking the amount of 10 crores by the PF office. The day-long reading was going on on Monday for the administration to find a solution to the matter.
It is worth noting that for the last several years, the help of private agencies and savings groups is being taken to recruit employees on contractual basis in the Municipal Corporation. The amount of PF was also paid by the Municipal Administration while paying the salary of the employees to the private agency and savings groups. But, the private agencies supplying workers on contract basis to the Municipal Corporation did not deposit the PF amount in the PF office even after getting the PF amount from the Municipal Administration. On the other hand, the PF office took this matter seriously and blocked an amount of 10 crores from the account of the Town Planning Department of the Municipal Administration.

Legal action will be taken against the agency
Due to this action taken by the PF office, there was panic throughout the day on Monday. In this matter, when the journalists met the Municipal Commissioner, Astik Kumar Pandey, on Monday evening, he made it clear that the private agency holders should have paid the PF amount from the municipal administration legally. The administration is collecting data about the amount so far paid to the private agency as PF amount. The administration will withdraw the said amount from the private agency. Legal action will be taken against the company which will not return the PF amount.

Commissioner Astik Pandey said that the administration had sought time till Monday from the officials of the PF office to resolve the matter. But, taking unilateral action, the PF office blocked an amount of 10 crores from the account of the Municipal Corporation. We are busy in finding a solution to this matter. On the other hand, municipal sources said that it is obligatory to pay the PF amount of the workers on time by the contractors supplying the employees to the municipal corporation on the contractual method. Without him their bills should not be drawn. Despite this, the bills of those contractors were removed. How has the Municipal Administration paid the amount to these contractors so far? Many questions are being raised on this.
