Ranchi : The Government of Jharkhand has instructed the subordinate officers for the work of providing electricity to the remote and inaccessible areas, in this sequence, the villages located in remote and inaccessible places of Jharkhand (Jharkhand) are now illuminated with solar energy. are shining. These are the villages in the state of Jharkhand, where electrification through grid was not possible.
Finally a total of 246 villages have been electrified with Solar Power Plots (Mini & Micro), Solar Stand Alone System. On the other hand, in 209 such un-electrified houses, whose residents were deprived of electricity, 3494 and 4245 un-electrified households i.e. total 7740 houses have been electrified with solar stand alone system respectively in 209 such villages.

Villages marked, electricity reached
Jharkhand Bijli Vitran Nigam Limited has identified remote villages where it was not financially and geographically feasible till now to supply electricity through conventional energy sources or to restore electricity supply from conventional energy sources due to inaccessible hills and forests covered . In such a situation, such villages were electrified through solar energy, so that not only could the energy requirement of the said villages be met, but to make such villages financially strong, in view of the possibilities of rural industrialization, there was a need for electricity. The requirement is being fulfilled.
Government working towards this goal
The state government aims to electrify every village, town and toll. Conventional power supply is technically and practically not comfortable in many villages due to the inhospitable geographical conditions. In such a situation, the government believes that the renewable energy project there can prove to be a better option according to the local needs. Work is being done to electrify such villages or towns through mini grid or solar stand alone home lighting system installed under 100% subsidy, so that electricity can reach every poor household.
two-way electrification
The government is illuminating the remote villages through two means. First, through solar stand alone system, having less than 50 houses and the expansion of the village in the geographical location of the village, distribution of the density of the rural population into different tolls, in the event of being far away. The village is proposed to be electrified through solar stand alone system. Under this, a module of 200-250 watts will be installed in each house with 4 nos. of 9 watts. Light, 1 nod. DC Fan will be provided. Also a mobile charging point and 1 LED. TV. will be electrified with the provision of power point of suitable capacity. Apart from the above, if community building or school is available in the village, then it is proposed to supply electricity through solar stand alone system according to its suitable capacity. For every 10 households, a number of 12 watt LEDs. Village streets will be illuminated by installing solar street lights. Second, under mini/micro off grid solar power plant, if the number of houses is more than 50 and the actual spread of the village, in case of density of population, that village will be provided to each household through mini, micro grid solar power plant. It is proposed to supply electricity to each house through poles and wires, setting an electric load of 200-250 watts.
These villages were illuminated
The villages of Chapel Pahar, Basco Pahar and Tengra Pahad at Barhait in Sahebganj have been illuminated with solar energy. At the same time, the work of solar energy is going on in six villages of Patna block. While the work of covering one village each in Hazaribagh’s Ichak, Chatra’s Simaria and four villages of Simdega with solar energy is in progress.
