Ranchi : According to the instructions of Deputy Commissioner Ranchi Chhavi Ranjan, a meeting of the District Level Steering-cum-Monitoring Committee was organized on 8th February 2022 under the Mid-Day Meal Scheme. District Education Officer, District Education Superintendent, Civil Surgeon, District Supply Officer, District Manager, Food Corporation of India and other concerned officials were present in the meeting organized under the chairmanship of Deputy Development Commissioner Ranchi Vishal Sagar in Collectorate Block A, Room No. 207.
While reviewing agenda wise in the meeting, Deputy Development Commissioner Vishal Sagar gave necessary directions to the concerned officials. In the meeting, Deputy Development Commissioner Vishal Sagar presented the budget for the financial year 2022-23 for the mid-day meal, the amount of cooking cost from 1 October 2020 to 31 March 2021 for the financial year 2021-22, through DBT in the bank account of the students, In the summer vacation period of the financial year 2021-22, the total amount of cooking cost for 20 days was transferred to the bank account of the students through DBT, arrangement of warehouse for the maintenance of food grains at the block level, for a total of 8 months in the financial year 2021-22. Reviewed the payment of cooks for DBT, status of account opening for DBT etc.

Point wise the concerned officials were given necessary directions by the Deputy Development Commissioner. Regarding the maintenance of food grains at the block level, the Deputy Development Commissioner directed to make proper arrangements for the godown.
