Ranchi : The Governor and Chief Minister of Jharkhand have expressed deep condolences on the death of Swara Kokila playback singer Lata Mangeshkar. Along with this, on the announcement of the Central Government, a two-day state hobby has also been announced in the state of Jharkhand. Expressing deep condolences on the death of Lata Mangeshkar, Chief Minister Hemant Soren expressed deep condolences on the death of Swar Kokila Lata Mangeshkar, saying that it is an irreparable loss to the country.
The Chief Minister said that even though Lata Mangeshkar is not with us, her voice will always rule our hearts. Soren said that I am saddened by the death of Lata Mangeshkar. This is an irreparable loss to the country and the countrymen. Everyone’s eyes are moist today.

2-day state mourning on the death of Lata Mangeshkar
According to the instructions of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, Government of Jharkhand, Cabinet Secretariat and Monitoring Department (Coordination) has informed that Kumari Lata Mangeshkar has passed away. In his honor, it has been decided by the Government of India to observe a two-day state mourning from 6 February 2022 to 7 February 2022. On the said date, all the buildings in the state of Jharkhand where the national flag is hoisted regularly, the national flag will remain half-masted and no state function will be organized.
