Mumbai. After 15,252 people were found infected with the coronavirus in the last 24 hours in Maharashtra, the number of people infected has now increased to 77,68,880. At the same time, after the death of 75 infected, the death toll has reached 1,42,859. This information was given by the Health Department of Maharashtra on Thursday.
Number of active patients dropped
According to the Health Department, 30,235 people have become corona free in the state in the last 24 hours. With this, the number of people who have been cured has increased to 74,63,868. At the same time, the number of active patients has come down to 1,58,151. Out of which 9,05,696 patients are in home quarantine and 2,610 in institutional quarantine. The state recorded a recovery rate of 96.07% and a death rate of 1.83% today.
