An unlawful immigrant from Brazil needed in reference to an “aggravated” homicide has been arrested whereas hiding out in Everett, the Herald has realized.
Ricardo Luiz Andrade-Silva, 40, a citizen of Brazil, was arrested by ICE in Everett, for aggravated murder on a warrant out of Minas Gerais, Brazil, a regulation enforcement supply stated at present.
No additional particulars about his alleged crime had been obtainable.
Area immigration officers did say Brazil put out a warrant for his arrest and he now faces deportation again to his dwelling nation.
“This fugitive has been accused of a heinous crime in his native country of Brazil and attempted to evade justice by hiding in Everett,” stated ERO Boston Field Office Director Todd Lyons.
Lyons added, “foreign fugitives will not find refuge from their alleged crimes here in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.”
Andrade-Silva crossed into the U.S. in August of 2021 in Otay Mesa, California.
“Authorities issued him a Notice to Appear, charged him with inadmissibility, and released him on an order of recognizance pending removal proceedings,” immigration officers stated.
He was misplaced into the wind till his arrest Tuesday in Everett.
