The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a warning on Friday, saying that people in Saurashtra and Kutch regions of Gujarat will have to face severe heat and heat from today i.e. from March 25 to March 28. Along with this, the Meteorological Department has also issued a rain alert for Northeast and South Peninsular India during the next five days.
The IMD said that there is a possibility of heat wave conditions in some states till Sunday. There is a possibility of scattered rain in some areas of South India for the next four days. Let us inform that in the month of March itself, the heat of summer has started intensifying in many states of North India including the national capital Delhi.

Snowfall and scattered rain are expected in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. If IMD is to be believed, there will be a rapid increase in heat and heat in Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab including the national capital Delhi.
According to IMD, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain in different areas of Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Orissa during 24 hours. During the next 5 days, there is a possibility of rain in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karnataka.
Light to moderate rain very likely over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Rayalaseema during the next two days. During the next four days, there will be rain in Kerala and Mahe. Thunderstorm and lightning are very likely at isolated places over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal and Karnataka during the next 25 hours.
There is a possibility of light rain at some places in Himachal Pradesh. Light rain may also occur over Coastal Region Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Apart from this, there is a possibility of lightning and thunder in some areas of these states.
Apart from this, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, including Meghalaya and Assam. On the other hand, there may be light drizzle in the areas of Sikkim as well. By March 28, the condition of change in weather will remain in the mountainous areas and southern states including Northeast India.
