Armory, Godaun House has become full when only 20 percent paddy has been procured at the local government basic paddy procurement center so far. Due to which the center of the buying and selling organization is closed. As a result, there has been a hindrance in selling the farmers’ paddy at the basic paddy procurement center since Sunday.
This year, for the sale of paddy for Kharip season, more than 4 thousand online registrations were done at the center of marketing federation Armori. Of these, till now around 700 paddy has been purchased according to the tokens of the farmers. But now because of all the godowns being houseful 4 days ago, the purchase of the center of Armori’s buying and selling organization has stopped. Due to which the farmer has come in trouble.
Financial problem before farmers
The farmers of Jogisakhara, Palsgaon, Rampur, Shankarnagar, Pathargota, Kasvi, Ashta etc villages of Tehsil are yet to sell paddy. Farmers had the hope of taking summer paddy and other crops in a new way by giving harvest, ploughing, bank crop loan etc. from the sale of paddy. But due to the closure of paddy procurement in the absence of Godown, the farmers’ eyes have been blown away.
Tractor full of paddy standing in front of the house
The farmers of Armori tehsil had taken the heaps of paddy to the procurement center and kept them ready by filling them in tractors for sale. But the purchase of paddy is stopped due to the Godown house of Armori’s shopping-sales institution. Due to which the heaps of paddy filled in the tractors of many farmers got drenched in the rain. Farmers are facing losses due to the shutdown.
Provide Godown: Ghodam
The Godown should be made available for the purchase of basic paddy of the farmers, otherwise the soaked paddy of the farmers would be brought to the Tehsil office, District Tribal Congress secretary Dilip Ghodam has given such a warning from the memorandum given to Kalyankumar Dahat, Tehsildar of Armori.
