Assembly Election Results 2022: The picture of the results of the assembly elections held in five states is almost clear. The biggest setback in these results has come to the Congress party. Congress has suffered a tremendous setback in Punjab. The Aam Aadmi Party has snatched the power from its hands by registering a historic victory. According to the information available on the official website of the Election Commission, till 4 pm, the Aam Aadmi Party was ahead in 92 seats out of 117 assembly seats in the state. On the other hand, Congress seems to be getting victory in only 18 seats.

2. Uttarakhand
Uttarakhand was a state where the Congress was expected to come to power. The results, however, dashed the hopes of the Congress. The BJP seems to be getting a clear majority with a lead in 48 of the 70 assembly seats in the state. At the same time, only 18 seats are seen going in the account of Congress.
Like Uttarakhand, the Congress was hoping to return to power in Goa. However, according to the information available on the official website of the Election Commission, till 4 pm, only 11 out of 40 seats in the state were seen going to the Congress account. While its ally Goa Forward Party has won only one seat. In comparison, BJP seems to be winning 20 seats and now it needs the support of 1 MLA to form the government.
4. Uttar Pradesh
This time in Uttar Pradesh, the Congress exerted a lot of strength under the leadership of Priyanka Gandhi, although despite this, the party’s seats have come down to the lowest level historically. Till 4 pm, the Congress was ahead in only two of the 403 seats in the state. On the other hand, the BJP-led coalition is once again showing an absolute majority to form the government with a lead in 264 seats. In the account of SP alliance, 134 seats are seen going.
In Manipur too, the Congress will once again have to sit in the opposition. Congress is getting only 4 seats out of 60 seats in the state. On the other hand, BJP seems to be getting victory in 31 seats, while the candidates of other parties are moving towards victory in 25 seats.
