Pune: The enthusiasm among Punekars about the journey of Pune Metro is seen reaching its peak. On Sunday 6 March, an elderly man reached the Pune Metro with his bicycle and completed his journey. The Pune Metro was inaugurated on Sunday at the hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Metro Rail service started after his departure and Punekars gave excellent response.
For the past several months, Pune residents were waiting for the Metro. On Sunday, the clocks of their waiting came to an end. Punekars are showing a lot of enthusiasm to travel in the metro which started immediately after the inauguration. Meanwhile, banking expert Shashank Wagh took a bicycle and traveled by metro. He praised the metro saying that it is affordable, dynamic and environment friendly. Even abroad, many people travel by taking a bicycle in the metro. That’s why I have also brought a bicycle. He completed the journey from Garware College Station to Anand Nagar.
