Talking about its price in the market, China exported 3.59 billion dollars, which is about 26.7 thousand crore rupees. Smuggling takes place from India, Pakistan and Myanmar
To earn maximum profit, China is trying to buy human hair at cheap prices. Many gangs are active for this, who smuggle human hair from India, Pakistan and Myanmar. The smuggled hairs from India are often those which are offered in temples here. The reason behind this is that their length is good, which gets good prices. One kilogram 10 inch long hair is bought for 220 yuan (about 2500 rupees) and they are sold in China for up to 940 yuan (about 10 thousand rupees). The cost of hair used to make wig is even more.
