Amravati: In the case of grabbing insurance worth lakhs by telling a couple to be fake corona patients on the pretext of extracting family health insurance policy, the Economic Offenses Wing has sought information related to corona patients required for investigation from Mahavir Hospital, Srikrishtha Peth. The police have sought other information including treatment, medical bill, deposit, payment bill for corona patients taking treatment in the hospital. On the basis of this information, the facts about the claims taken from the insurance company are expected to come out.

On the report of Huzaifa Tahir Ali Gorawala, resident of Sarafa Bazar Bohra Galli, a case was registered against the insurance agent woman Alfia and her owner Laxmikant Laddha at City Kotwali police station on December 11, but till now no accused has been arrested by the police. Police is busy collecting necessary documents and evidence for the investigation of this case. The fact of grabbing a claim from 4-4 insurance companies on a fake corona report has come to the fore in the primary investigation of the police.
