Even though the central government and state governments are pushing for early adoption of electric vehicles in India, it is still in its early stages. Currently only a few manufacturers offer electric vehicles in India and the charging network is still in its early stages. That’s why most electric car buyers try to stay within a single city. But there are car owners who have gone on a long journey with their MG ZS electric car.
Car owner Vinod has shared his Delhi-Kochi trip experience. According to the report of Cartorq, Vinod started his journey from Delhi. Their first stop was at Tata Motors at a distance of 244 km to charge the MG ZS EV. Vinod said that there was some connecting problem with the Tellus charger, due to which the vehicle took a total of 2 hours to charge.
On the second day his destination was Baroda, which he started with 88 percent charge in the morning. After this he went to Udaipur where he fast charged, the charger near MG Motor Udaipur charged very well. After this Vinod took the next stop Tata Motors Harsolia where the charger was not working. After this he reached AM Motors which was 36 km away. After this he again reached Baroda where he charged his car again. To go from Baroda to Pune, he again took a stop at MG Surat.

There are also restaurants near three of these chargers. During this he traveled a total of 426 km. Vinod then ended his journey in Hubli as the next fast charger was available in Karnataka.
On the 5th day he traveled from Hubli to Mysore which was 545 km, after that he used Delta charger and then finally charged with Zeon charger at Mall of Mysore. Finally left for Kochi from Mysuru but due to the lockdown near Thrissur he did not get Tata and Zeon Chargers. But he still had 80 percent of the charge left, due to which he directly reached Kochi, which was a journey of 345 km.
note: Let us tell you that Vinod has shared his experience. If you also want to travel like this with your electric car or want to go from one city to another in India, then you have to first see where the chargers are available. At the same time, how far can you go for how much charge? So never take risk without research.
