Mumbai: The speed of the third wave of corona in Maharashtra is decreasing. Here on Sunday, 9,666 were found infected with the new corona virus, taking the total number of cases of infection to 78,03,700. While the death toll has reached 1,43,074 due to the death of 66 patients.
The Health Department said that a total of 25,175 patients were discharged from the hospital in a day, taking the number of people who recovered from the disease to 75,38,611. There are now 1,18,076 patients under treatment for COVID-19 in the state. At the same time, it is a matter of relief that, on Sunday, no new case of Corona’s new variant Omicron has come in the state. So far, 3,334 patients of this variant have been found infected in the state.
