Pune: The Consumer Commission has given relief to the home owners who do not get parking as per the contract while taking the flat. The commission has directed the developer to hand over the parking space to the concerned tenant as per the contract. Additional District Consumer Grievance Redressal Commission chairman J. V. Deshmukh, members Anil Javlekar and Shubhangi Dunakhe have given this decision. In this regard, Hemant and Jyoti Jagtap had lodged a complaint with the commission against Vijay Tapadia of VM Group.
The complainant Jagtap had booked a flat worth Rs 32 lakh 49 thousand in a group project in Ambegaon. There was a contract to provide parking at the same price. However, when he actually took possession of the flat, he was not given the parking and completion certificate of the flat. So Jagtap lodged a complaint against the group with the police and the commission. On behalf of Jagtap in the commission, Ed. Gyanraj Sant and Ed. Jayshree Kulkarni argued.
