Ever since the news of the coup in Jordan, this country has started to be discussed all over the world. Officials said on Sunday that a former Crown Prince wanted to destabilize the Raj family with foreign help. It has been thwarted. On the other hand, this former Crown Prince is contrary to the claim in which he said that he is being punished for being accused of corruption and disqualification. At the same time, the governments of America and Arabia have supported King Abdullah II of Jordan.
Criticizing the ruling class without naming Prince Abdullah of Prince Hamzah could have raised the issue of growing complaints about misrule and human rights abuses in Jordan. But with Shah’s strong reaction to his stepbrother’s detention and making serious allegations against him, it is clear to what extent he is ready to inflict public dissatisfaction.
Prince Hamza said- is under house arrest
Jordan’s Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Ayman Safadi said, stability and security of the royal family is paramount. Accusing Hamza and two senior officials of Jordan of destabilizing power with foreign help, he said, this conspiracy has been completely thwarted. In a video recorded secretly, Prince Hamza said that he has been placed under house arrest. This video was leaked in the media.
Hamza was crowned Crown Prince in 1999
In the video, Hamza (41) has accused the Jordan ruling class of suppressing corruption and freedom of expression. At the same time, Hamza’s mother Noor tweeted on Sunday, praying that all innocent victims will get justice. God bless and keep them safe. Both Abdullah and Hamza are sons of the late King Hussein. Shah Hussain was a very popular king. In 1999, Abdullah declared Hamza the Crown Prince.
Arab countries supported King Abdullah
Hamza is a popular figure in Jordan who is considered very sincere and moderate. But Safadi, in his address on television, presented his picture on the contrary and accused him of conspiring to harm national security. Safadi, however, did not say whether the case would be tried against the Crown Prince for these crimes or an attempt would be made to resolve it amicably. The United States and other Gulf countries including Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman and Kuwait have supported Abdullah.
