Nandurbar : The departmental commissioner Ramkrishna Game gave instructions to complete the target of recovery of revenue amount for Nandurbar district for the financial year 2021-2022 on time. The Divisional Commissioner said that it is very important to make necessary planning for the recovery of revenue amount. The commissioner has also said that the departmental revenue commissioner of Nashik Radhakrishna Game has also given instructions to complete the calculation of forest rights claim at the earliest.
A review meeting of the revenue officers of Nandurbar district was held under the chairmanship of Divisional Commissioner Game in Rangavati Auditorium of the District Magistrate’s office, in which the Divisional Commissioner gave the above instructions. In this meeting, District Magistrate Manisha Khatri, Additional District Magistrate Mahesh Patil, Assistant District Magistrate Minal Karanwal, Dr. Mainak Ghosh, Assistant Commissioner Kundan Sonawane, Deputy Forest Conservator Krishna Bhanwar, Resident Sub Collector Sudhir Khande, Deputy District Magistrate Shahuraj More, Mahesh Bagde, Prakash Thavil, District Supply Officer Mahesh Shelar, District Rehabilitation Officer Nitin Sadgir, Sub Divisional Officer Chetan Girase etc. were present.

On this occasion, the Divisional Commissioner said that while doing the planning to meet the target of recovery of government money, 100 percent recovery should be made for auction of sand ghats, government land, revenue and minerals. Emphasis has also been laid on planning to provide work at the local level to stop the transfer of district laborers. Out of 4787 features placed for the calculation of forest rights claims, 4671 claims have been counted, while 116 claims are yet to be calculated, instructions have been given to complete it soon. To protect the government land from encroachment and regularize the database of government land by completing the investigation of breach of condition of the distributed government land, renewal of rent lease. Government is implementing e-crop inspection, computerized planning, seven-twelve, e-change initiatives for farmers. In order to give information about this undertaking to the village level, instructions were also given to organize a special camp at the village level by the Revenue Department. Along with giving 7/12 to the account holders of the district free of cost, the district administration appreciated the revenue department for implementing various schemes in an excellent manner.
Special campaign underway
During this, District Magistrate Khatri informed that various undertakings are being implemented in Nandurbar district. Under this, a special campaign is being run to distribute ration cards to 100% citizens of Akrani tehsil. For the financial year 2021-2022, a target of 65 crore, 62 lakh was set in Nandurbar district for the recovery of land revenue and minor minerals, out of which 52 crore, 65 lakh, 92 thousand rupees have been recovered, while the remaining Instructions have been given to make necessary planning to meet the target of recovery of revenue amount. Information about the formation of roadways to stop smuggling of minor minerals was also given during this period. All Tehsildars of the district, Chief Officers of Municipalities, senior officers of various branches of District Magistrate Office were present in the meeting.
