Aurangabad: Union Minister of State for Finance Dr. Bhagwat Karad held an important meeting in Delhi regarding the development of tourism in Aurangabad district. Apart from promoting tourism in the district, this meeting will prove to be very important to complete the pending projects. Dr. Karad gave clear information to the officials of the concerned department in the meeting to send the detailed reports of all the projects to the ministry at the earliest. Union Minister of State for Finance Dr. Bhagwat Karad has been making efforts for the development of tourism in Aurangabad district for the past few months.
A high level meeting was held in Delhi regarding the sound light show at Ajanta caves, sound and light show at Ahilya Devi Kund, sound and light show at Ghushneshwar temple, ropeway at Daulatabad fort, Aurangabad caves near Aurangabad i.e. at Hanuman Tekdi. . Arvind Singh, Secretary, Central Tourism Department, KV Rao of ITDC, Vidyavati Shivshankar Lature, Director General, Archaeological Survey of India, Rajendra Lodha, VP Singh of Junaid Broadcast Engineering Consultant Limited, Saurabh Deshmukh were present in the meeting.

Presentation given on construction of ropeway
In the meeting, first of all a presentation was given by private organization Sky on the construction of ropeway. This organization is working for the development of tourism and has constructed a nationally renowned ropeway. Efforts are being made to set up sound and light shows at Ajanta, Ellora, world famous caves, ropeway at Daulatabad fort, Bibi ka Maqbara, Ghushmeshwar temple for the development of tourism in Aurangabad district. A detailed project report is being prepared through Broadcasting Engineering Consultant India Limited.
Work will be done through CSR fund
In the meeting, some technical issues in the monuments of the Archaeological Survey of India were discussed in detail. The work of construction of ropeway will be done through CSR fund, sound and light show will be set up in Guru Shaneshwar temple at Verul through public sector rural electrification unit. After that, in view of the historical importance of this building, sound and light shows will be organized at Soneri Mahal in Aurangabad. Various development works will be done in Ahilya Devi Kund through GAIL.
There will be four ropeways in Aurangabad district
There will be four ropeways in Aurangabad district. In this meeting, senior officials told that there is no technical problem in the construction of ropeways at Ajanta, Daulatabad Fort, Ellora, Aurangabad Caves near the city. Against this background, it was informed that there was no problem in the construction of the ropeway in the historic Daulatabad Fort. Broadcasting Engineering Consultant India Limited has submitted Detailed Project Reports to various Public Sector Companies which require permission from Ministry of Tourism and Archaeological Survey of India to operate at various locations. The meeting held in Delhi in this regard was very important. Vidyavati, Director, Archaeological Survey of India has given certain guidelines to the concerned Consultant Broadcasting Engineering Consultant India Limited regarding preparation of DPR. Important guidelines are to be followed in the World Heritage Sites, there was a special discussion in the meeting, submit the DPRs of all the projects immediately.
