It may be mentioned that in relation to the problem of powerloom industry in Bhiwandi, the meeting chaired by Textile Industries Minister Aslam Shaikh proposed to constitute a committee of experts in the field of textile industry to study the problems of powerloom holders in the state and find solutions. Decision was taken. In connection with this decision, the Commissioner (Textiles), Textiles Commissionerate, Nagpur had recommended the names of experts to the State Government. Accordingly, the government has constituted a committee of experts in the field of textile industry to study the problems of the powerloom holders in the state and find solutions. Dr. Abdul Latif Mohammad Anwar has been made the chairman of this committee, while Dr. Nooruddin Nizamuddin Ansari, Rashid Tahir Momin, Sadikuzzama have been appointed as members.
