The country’s leading automobile manufacturer Hero MotoCorp has announced the support of 122-bed COVID Hospital to deal with the Corona epidemic. For this, the company has partnered with the Ramakrishna Mission Sevashram in Haridwar and the district administration.
With this partnership, the company is supporting the health infrastructure of the Ramakrishna Mission Sevashram to enhance the capacity of medical emergency facility and rapid-response team. Apart from this, the company will also help Sevashram in Haridwar in an Immediate Health Plan designed to prevent the growth of Coronavirus. The company has given this information in its press note recently.
Ramakrishna Mission Sevashram in Haridwar currently has 90 beds in separate wards with oxygen, 8 beds in COVID ICU with oxygen and BIPAP machine, 16 beds in oxygen ward with oxygen and portable ventilators, 24X7 labs and ventilators With 8 beds in COVID ICU and CT scan and 5 operation theaters.
Along with the above mentioned things, the company has also promised to provide its scooters and bikes for the movement of health workers and medical staff. Regarding this, Haridwar District Collector C. Ravi Shankar said that he appreciates the efforts being made by Hero Motocorp and also asks other companies for such help to fight this epidemic.
The company said that it has also provided oxygen cylinders in Delhi and Haryana. Along with this, PPE kits have also been donated for healthcare workers in many states.
The company stopped production due to Corona
Let us tell you that in view of the increasing cases of Corona, Hero MotoCorp has temporarily stopped operations in all its factories, including the Global Parts Center (GPC). The company has stopped production at its factories in Dharuhera in Haryana, Gurugram, Chittoor in Andhra Pradesh, Haridwar in Uttarakhand, Neemrana in Rajasthan and Halol in Gujarat. Hero Moto Corp said in a statement that all the factories and GPCs will be closed for four days separately from April 22 to May 1, depending on the situation locally.
