Nagpur. The state’s longest running ST bus strike is proving to be a boon for private vehicles. According to local residents, a large number of CNG vehicles are being run in rural areas, but they are charging the fare for vehicles running on petrol and diesel. Many people have lodged their objection in this matter but they are not being heard. People say that paying more rent in these vehicles has become their compulsion.
Here the ST bus management wants to bring the deteriorating transport systems back on track as soon as possible. For this, he continued his efforts on Monday as well. Today 12 buses were operated. In which 3 buses were run for Ganesh Peth, 3 buses Ghatroad, 3 buses for Imamwada, 2 buses for Umred and Vardhman. These buses made a total of 34 ferries. These buses traveled 1878.4 kilometres. In these, about 1374 people made their journeys. Management says that they are constantly trying to bring back the employees who went on strike. Negotiations are going on for this continuously. Along with this, good decisions regarding their rights are also being taken by the government. Here the employees say that the management is not accepting their demands. Due to which the strike is prolonging.
The biggest problem in an emergency
In rural areas, the biggest problem comes when a sick person has to come to Nagpur hospital. In normal days, people used to come to Nagpur in the morning through ST buses to get sick and reach home in the evening after completing their treatment work throughout the day. In this, they had to spend less on rent as well as less time. But now they are facing huge problems when they come by private vehicles in emergency. The passengers in these vehicles are stuffed and packed. Which troubles them.
Steps are not stopping even in winter
Winter has given its knock in the state. In general, the mercury has started falling below 8 degree Celsius. But still, a group of ST employees is going continuously from the city to support the strike in Mumbai Azad Maidan. The employees say that they have to take the strike to the destination under any circumstances. They will continue to visit Mumbai. He has also refused to seek any political patronage. They want this victory on their own. For this reason, they are constantly standing by their demands from the government. They hope that the results will be good.
