Aurangabad : Marathwada’s largest Siddharth Garden and Zoo Park were closed by the Municipal Administration after the third wave of Corona hit the city last month. After the beginning of the month of February, the third wave of corona in the city is almost on the verge of ending. Due to which the municipal administration has decided to open Siddharth Garden from Wednesday.
Municipal Deputy Commissioner Saurabh Joshi said that from Wednesday, the Municipal Administration has decided to open Siddharth Garden. In the month of January, after the third wave of Corona knocked in the city, the Municipal Administration had closed the Siddharth Garden. Now after the situation becomes normal, the Municipal Administration has decided to open Siddharth Garden and Zoo Park located in it. He told that only those who take both the doses of corona in Siddharth Garden will be given entry. Siddharth Garden will remain open from 9 am to 5 pm. It is worth mentioning that last week the district administration had decided to open all the historical places located in the historic Aurangabad.

After this decision of the district administration, the Ajanta-Ellora Caves, Bibi Ka Maqbara, Devgiri Fort and all other historical sites located in the district were opened. Which tourists started taking advantage of in large numbers. On Sunday, a large crowd of tourists was seen at all the historical places located in the district including the city. In particular, the closure of historical sites for the past two years had upset all the businesses dependent on it. Knowing their troubles, Shiv Sena MLA Ambadas Danve had demanded the State Tourism Minister Aaditya Thackeray to open all the historical places in the district immediately. Taking cognizance of Danve’s demand, the state government has opened all the historical places of the district last week. Due to which there is a wave of happiness among the tourists. On the other hand, due to the closure of the only zoo park and Siddharth Garden in Marathwada, there was uneasiness among the citizens of the city including the surrounding. On Tuesday evening, the Municipal Administration has decided to open Siddharth Garden from Wednesday. Deputy Commissioner Saurabh Joshi appealed to take advantage of this decision of the city administration.
