Pune: The Pune Municipal Corporation has started the vaccination of children in the age group of 15 to 18 years from Monday. It is getting better response from children. A large number of children are coming to the vaccination centres. Pune Municipal Corporation has set a target of immunization of 2 to 2.5 lakh children in this campaign.
Mayor Murlidhar Mohol said that vaccination has started from Monday at 40 vaccination centers in the city. Around 78,000 doses are available with the Pune Municipal Administration.
The joy of vaccination seen in children
Children under 18 go to school, go to tuition. That’s why there is fear in them about Corona. In the vaccination campaign started for children from Monday, satisfaction and happiness are being seen on the faces of children after receiving the vaccine. Sudhir Gaikwad, a class 10th student, told after getting the vaccine that due to Corona, one has to be careful while going to school or anywhere else. Everyone at home was vaccinated. I was the only one left. Now I am vaccinated. Now I feel safe too. Rajesh Sawant, a student of class 11, says that we should have started vaccination along with people above 18 years of age. I got vaccinated on the first day itself. No problem now. I’m liking it.

Booster dose will be started from January 10
