An nameless former Cathedral High grad pledged to match donations as much as a monumental $30 million for the South End college’s Cathedral Now, Cathedral Forever marketing campaign.
“For me — I’ve been in Catholic education for a long time — it’s really the most generous gesture I’ve ever seen,” stated Cathedral High School President Dan Carmody. “And particularly makes a difference for our mission, which is serving kids who would not otherwise have access to a strong Catholic education.”
The personal, co-ed highschool was established within the South End of Boston in 1926. Approaching their a hundredth anniversary, Carmody stated, they’re seeking to plan farther into the college’s future.
