Police are investigating who wrote “KKK Meeting Today” on an electrical development signal board in South Boston on Monday.
The police division’s Civil Rights Unit has taken over the investigation after a Boston police officer noticed the signal within the space of D and Cypher streets in Southie at round 7:40 a.m. on Labor Day.
The electrical development signal board belongs to a personal development firm, whose identify was blacked out on the police report. The development agency was listed as a sufferer for the vandalism incident.
Whether a hacker took management of the signal board or if an worker from the development firm wrote the phrase is “part of the investigation,” in line with a Boston Police spokesperson.
