A Nashua Street Jail detainee faces a cost of assault and battery on a correctional facility worker after he allegedly beat a caseworker whereas she was assembly with him earlier this month.
“I don’t discriminate,” detainee Ahmad Maiden allegedly advised responding employees as they have been restraining him, in response to the police report, “(expletive) that (expletive) I hit her.”
Maiden, 43, appeared in Boston Municipal Court Wednesday for arraignment on a depend of assault and battery on a correctional facility worker, disturbing a correctional establishment, and threats. Judge Mark Summerville ordered Maiden held in lieu of $10,000 and revoked his bail on earlier prices together with an August assault on a corrections officer.
Maiden is accused of closed-fist punching the caseworker whereas assembly together with her at round 1:40 p.m. Sept. 15. He then allegedly stated that he would place a telephone name to have the jail’s employees killed and that if he had a gun everybody could be lifeless, in response to the report filed by the Sheriff’s workplace.
The caseworker advised jail employees that Maiden “attacked me” and “wouldn’t stop hitting me,” in response to the report.
The caseworker was evaluated by jail medical employees after which taken to Massachusetts General Hospital.
Maiden was within the jail awaiting trial on a number of circumstances, together with a cost that he punched a correctional officer on the jail on Aug. 2 and a 2021 case involving an assault on a member of the family, in response to the Suffolk District Attorney’s workplace. He’s scheduled to return to courtroom on Oct. 5.
