Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has said in the order that there will be a night curfew in the entire state. The curfew will remain in force from 10 am to 5 am in all cities and towns of Punjab.
According to the new order, those who violate the COVID-19 guidelines will now be charged double the fine. The amount of the fine has been increased from Rs 500 to Rs 1000. That is, now you will have to pay a penalty of one thousand rupees for not applying mask and not following social distancing.
As per the order issued by the Punjab government, all hotels, restaurants and wedding venues will be closed from 9:30 pm. These restrictions will be reviewed again on 15 December. The Punjab government has taken this precautionary measure in view of the second wave of Corona.
Fines increased four times in Delhi too
The Delhi government has also taken several strict steps in view of the third wave of Corona in recent times. The Kejriwal government of Delhi has increased the amount of the penalty four times for being found without a mask in public places. Now, being caught without a mask in public places has to pay a fine of Rs 2000. Earlier the fine amount was 500 rupees. No vaccine has yet come to market to prevent the corona epidemic. In this case, the mask is the only means of protection.
