Lucknow: Savita Pandey, the declared candidate of Congress from Tarabganj assembly seat in Gonda district of Uttar Pradesh, along with her supporters joined the BJP on Sunday. Apart from this, many other leaders and former ministers also took membership of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
BJP’s media co-in-charge Himanshu Dubey said in a statement issued on Sunday that Savita Pandey, Congress’s declared candidate from Tarabganj, took the membership of the party in front of former state president Dr. Laxmikant Vajpayee at the BJP state headquarters.
According to the statement, Savita Pandey said on this occasion, “I am joining the BJP after being influenced by the welfare policy of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas and Sabka Vishwas’ by the BJP governments led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Am.”
He said that in the last five years, due to the commitment of the State BJP Government towards the safety and respect of mother, sister, daughter in the State, the belief in every woman has been unwavering that the daughter is safe only in the BJP Government.
Dubey told that in front of former state president of the party and chairman of the joining committee, Dr. Laxmikant Bajpai, senior Samajwadi Party leader and former state government minister Awadhesh Verma (Shahjahanpur), Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) former minister of state Tarakeswar. Upadhyay (Azamgarh), Congress state general secretary and former assembly candidate Hasmukhiri Shankhwar, state vice president of Congress Mahila Committee Madhu Pathak and many other leaders also joined BJP.
