Mumbai. In the capital Mumbai, the cases of Coronavirus infection continue to decline. The city has registered 960 cases in the last 24 hours. Whereas, 11 patients have died. At the same time, 3,762 new corona infected have been found in Pune and 14 people have died. This information was issued by the local administrations on Monday.
About 10 thousand active patients in Mumbai
According to the data released in the bulletin, after 960 new cases and 11 deaths in Mumbai, the number of infected has increased to 1,046,590 and the number of dead to 16,623. At the same time, 1837 people have defeated this deadly virus. After which the number of people recovering from corona has increased to 10,17,288. The recovery rate in the city has been recorded at 97% today. At present there are 9,900 active patients in the city.

94% beds empty in hospitals
According to BMC, out of the new patients found in Mumbai, 835 patients (87%) are asymptomatic, while 106 were hospitalised. At the same time 30 patients required oxygen. At present 973 patients are on oxygen in the city. While 2,215 patients are being treated in the hospital. Currently, there are 37,576 beds in Mumbai hospitals, of which 94.1 per cent beds are vacant. Corona test of 34,301 people has been done in the city today.

Corona patients decreasing in Pune too
Corona cases are decreasing in Pune district. 3,762 have been found here in 24 hours, while 14 patients have died. Out of which there has been (2056 patients and 9 deaths) in Pune city. Whereas in Pimpri Chinchwad (931 patients, 4 deaths), in areas under Municipal Council (149 patients), in containment areas (29 patients) and in rural areas (597 patients and 1 death). This has increased to 14,09,835 and the total number of dead has increased to 19,475.
About 60 thousand active patients
According to the Health Department, 7,953 people have recovered and returned home in the last 24 hours. A total of 13,31,163 people have been cured in the district so far. At present there are 59,204 active patients in the district. Out of which 2,317 are in hospital and 56,887 patients are in home isolation. Corona test of 22,766 people was done in the district today.
