new Delhi. Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia on Tuesday hit out at critics of Operation Ganga in the Lok Sabha, saying Prime Minister Narendra Modi did the mission as the protector of every Indian citizen. Has taken command. He is the only India who did his mission till the last Indian citizen was brought back.
Jyotiraditya Scindia said, “When the war started, we heard a lot of comments – why was the advisory not issued on time? India is one of the leading countries that first issued the advisory. We had issued advisories on February 15, 18, 20 and 21.”

Scindia said, “The Prime Minister has taken over the command as a ‘Pradhan Sevak’ as the protector of every Indian citizen. Meetings were held day and night. As Hardeep Puri said he was in Guwahati, I was in MP. We got a call at 11.30 pm, in which we were to be called back to Delhi and sent to Romania and Moldova.”
He said, “An operation like Operation Ganga has never happened before. The Prime Minister personally led this campaign and sent four government ministers to neighboring countries of Ukraine for smooth completion with the instruction to return on the last flight only after all the children arrived.
In recent times, we have carried out the largest campaign to evacuate people during the war. Many countries showed their inability to evacuate their people.
