Nagpur. Voting for the High Court Bar Association (HCBA) elections was held on Saturday. The result was declared after the counting of votes. In this, in a thorny competition for the post of President, Ed. Atul Pandey won, leaving everyone behind. Ed. Pandey got 554 votes. Four candidates were in the fray for this post. Ed. Sohni and Ed. The possibility of a fierce fight between Sridhar Purohit was being expressed. But Ed. Pandey set aside all possibilities and registered the victory.
Ed. 476 to Sameer Sohni, ed. Shridhar Purohit 442 and Ed. V.G. Bhamburkar got 29 votes. On the post of Secretary of the Bar Association, Ed. Amol Jaltare won. Elections were held on Saturday in the Nagpur Bench of the Mumbai High Court. A total of 37 candidates were in the fray in the elections for 16 posts.

Ed for the post of Secretary. Amol Jaltare and Ed. There was a contest between Rigveda Dhore. In this Ed. Jaltare won by taking 782 votes. Ed. Dhore got 704 votes. While for the post of Vice President, Ed. PS Tidke and Ed. s. N. Bhattad, for the post of Treasurer, Ed. M. D. Lakhe, Assistant Secretary Ed. PS For the post of Chavan and Library Incharge, Ed. V.S. Uberoi registered the victory.
After the declaration of the result, the winning candidates thronged the court premises. In the election for the 9 Executive Member, Ed. Apoorva Kolhe got maximum 1106 votes. Also Ed. Akshaya Kshirsagar 858, Ed. Anthony Basco 841, ed. Abdul Haq 837, ed. Sagar Katkar 814, ed. B.A. Bhandarkar 736, Ed. Aniruddha Ananthakrishnan 730, ed. PM Athavale 675, Ed. Amol Hungo got 640 votes. The 9 lawyers who got the most votes were selected for the post of High Court Bar Association executive member.
