Mumbai: For the convenience of the passengers, Western Railway has decided to run daily special train between Umargam and Mahesana via Gandhinagar Capital. Apart from this, the frequency of Bandra Terminus-Jabalpur Special Train has been extended. According to CPRO Sumit Thakur, 09471 Umargam- Mahesana special will leave Umargam at 5.50 hrs daily and reach Mahesana at 2.40 hrs on the same day.
09472 Mahesana – Umargam Special will leave Mahesana at 4.30 hrs everyday and arrive Umargam at 1.30 hrs next day. Both these trains will run from January 4 to 16.
Booking will start from 22nd December
02133 Bandra Terminus – Jabalpur Special will run from 8 January to 26 March. The stoppage time of this train at some intermediate stations has been revised. 02134 Jabalpur – Bandra Terminus Special will run from 7 January to 25 March. The booking of extended trips of 09471 & 09472 and train number 02133 will start from 22nd December at PRS counters and IRCTC website. Passengers can visit www.enquiry.indianrail.gov.in for detailed information regarding stoppages, operating timings, composition, frequency and days of operation of these trains.

Special trains between Mumbai- Thivim
Railways will run fully reserved tri-weekly special trains on special charges between LTT and Thivim to clear the extra rush of passengers during Christmas and New Year. 01285 Special will leave LTT at 4.35 am on 22nd, 23rd, 28th, 29th & 30th December and arrive Thivim at 3.50 am on the same day. 01286 Special will leave Thivim at 4.35 PM on 22, 23, 28, 29 & 30 December and arrive LTT at 3 hrs, the next day. Booking for Fully Reserved Special Train No. 01285/01286 will be done on special charges at all Computerized Reservation Centers and website www.irctc.co.in.
